Job Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Weekly Pay: $3600/week
Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM

CVICU RN position available in Santa Clara. Candidates must have strong experience in cardiovascular intensive care and be able to work independently in high-acuity settings.

Job Description:
CVICU RN position available in Santa Clara. Candidates must have strong experience in cardiovascular intensive care and be able to work independently in high-acuity settings.
Position Requirements:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- One (1) year of current experience in progressive or intermediate care unit preferred
License and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
- BLS – Basic Life Support
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Basic Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic parameters.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and initiate advanced life support measures.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and infection control standards.
- Operate and manage advanced cardiovascular monitoring equipment.
