Registered Nurse - CVOR

Duties:

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Required Education:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certification & Licensure:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS Licensed in Michigan.

Required Skills & Experience:

• OR experience.
• Cardiac Scrub experience.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Interview:

• Phone or Teams 15 minutes.

Schedule Notes:

• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Must be available 1 weekend per month.
• 6:00am - 2:30pm, 6:00am - 4:30pm, or 6:00am - 6:30pm.
• There is an option for five 8's, four 10's, or three 12's with a 6:00am start time.
• 48 hours of call in a 6-week schedule period required.
