ACLS,BLS,PALS, CPI, NISHH

Unit Information:

Number of Beds: Future state 20 beds + 3 Behavioral within and locked unit and 2 Triage rooms. Under construction currently.

Patient Ratios: 4/1 to 5/1

Equipment: Standard for Emergency Care

EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

Must Have Skills/Experience: 2 to 5 years Emergency Department / Critical Care

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

Type of Patients on Unit: Emergency department patients

Personality Fit: this unit is team approach , flexibility and excellent communication and documentation skills

Scrub Color: any sold color

Any unacceptable attire: needs to be professional attire

ED is a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center

ED is currently under construction requiring flexibility with work flow changes

ED has 3 behavioral health unit beds within a locked space, plus 3 medical/psych swing beds. Penbay has an inpatient psychiatric unit.
