Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR
Location: Neptune, NJ, 07754
Duration: 09/15/2025 – 12/13/2025
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday), no holiday requirement, no on-call, float within stepdown and medical-surgical units as needed, Epic or similar EMR experience preferred
Pay Range: $57-$62/hr.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Six (6)+ months of relevant nursing experience OR active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.

Telemetry monitoring.
-
IV insertion and management.
-
Central line care.
-
Medication administration.
-
EMR documentation (Epic or similar).
-
Basic tracheostomy care.
-
Stable ventilator management.
Education
-
Required: BSN.
Licensure & Certifications
-
NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.

BLS – AHA.
-
ACLS – AHA.
Job Summary

Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and excellent individualized patient care.

Collect comprehensive health data through systematic assessment focused on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status.

Recognize changes in clinical and diagnostic status of patients.

Identify patient and family education needs based on age, disease, and cultural differences.

Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.

Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, nursing colleagues, and healthcare teams.

Deliver care in an organized and timely manner, ensuring understanding of patient/family education.

Follow established protocols and document events accurately.

Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
-
Coordinate safe multidisciplinary discharge planning.
-
Evaluate patient outcomes and initiate interventions for changes in condition or unexpected responses.
