Occupational Health Nurse
Job Location: Round Lake, IL (100% Onsite)
Job Duration: 12 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00am - 2:30pm or 7:00am - 4:30pm
Payrate: $34.60/ hr. on w2
Job Summary:
- Direct Patient Care R.N. or LPN specialized in providing a safe work environment for employees.
- May be a solo practitioner, manager, educator, consultant, nurse practitioner, case manager, and/or corporate director.
- Will often work with members of an occupational health and safety team (i.e. medicine, safety, industrial hygiene, etc.).
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing an effective occupational health program at the facility level.
- The OHN acts as a business partner to maximize productivity and reduce health related costs.
- OH program elements include: immediate care for illness and injury, health surveillance, regulatory compliance, case management and health promotion.
- Provides healthcare services to employees or persons who become ill or injured at the facility.
- Practices within the parameters of professional licensure to ensure consistency with legal, labor, regulatory and Corporate requirements.
- Occupational health experience, case management, public health, soft skills, computer skills
Top 2-5 Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Medical Triage experience.
- Medical Surveillance - Any Certifications in the following:
- Audio Metric
- Eye Test
- Physicals
- Blood Work
- Respirator
- Coaching General Wellness.
- Can provide general education.
Division and Product Lines:

Drug Delivery Manufacturing which includes Non-Ceph, Ceph, Penicillin, and other areas as assigned.
Key Deliverables and Project Milestones:

Maintaining medical surveillance compliance, injury/illness intake, case management, and wellness initiatives.
Preferred Tools, Technologies, and Systems:
-
Benchmark (Medicare) and Microsoft Office.
Team Structure and Key Stakeholders:
- Reports to onsite EHS Associate Director with a dotted line to Global Occupational Nurse.
- Active member of onsite EHS team.
Work Environment:
- Fast paced 24/7 manufacturing environment with onsite health services
- If candidate located with experience that Client is needing and can work a 12 hour shift, they are open to discussion about increasing pay rate.
