Job Title: RN Cardiology Stepdown Unit
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Department: Cardiology Stepdown Unit
Unit Census: Average 28 patients, 35 beds per unit
Pay Rate: $58/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse at the Heart Hospital, you will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care for cardiology stepdown patients, integrating critical thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration to support patient-centered care. This role requires advanced skills in stepdown nursing, ventilator management, and cardiology care within a modified primary nursing model.
Qualifications & Skills:
Location: New York, NY

Qualifications & Skills:
- License: Valid NYS RN License required
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in hospital setting
- Minimum 2 years of cardiology, telemetry, post-procedural Cath experience
- Ventilator experience required
- Stepdown unit experiences mandatory
- Travel nursing experience (1 year) preferred but not required for Per Diem
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Technical Skills: EPIC documentation system experience highly preferred
- Schedule: 3 shifts/week, 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
