Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Clinic Navigator

Job Title:  Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Clinic Navigator
Location: Duluth, GA 30096
Duration: 2-3 Months (Extendable)

Shift: 07:45 AM to 04:15 PM | 10-Hour Shifts

Unit: GI Unit

Summary: RN Navigator for the Outpatient GI Unit responsible for clinical care, patient triage, and coordinating education and resources to ensure timely, high-quality care across the continuum.
 
Requirements

• Active Georgia RN License or Compact License
• BLS Certification (AHA required)
• Current 1 year of Outpatient RN experience in GI Unit
• NG Tubes experience required

 
Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage for new and ongoing GI patients (including research participants) via phone and in clinic.
• Provide NG tube management and other outpatient GI clinical support.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decision-making and treatment adherence.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely access to medical and psychosocial services.
• Monitor patient progress and facilitate continuity of care throughout all phases of treatment.
