Summary:
- Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting. This role requires exceptional critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills to manage diverse patient populations with varying clinical presentations.
- The unit features 30 beds and manages 100–110 patients daily (up to 120 during peak season).
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize care needs based on the patient’s condition, diagnosis, and care setting.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including nursing diagnoses, interventions, and discharge planning.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products following hospital policy and safety protocols.
- Document patient care accurately, including assessments, interventions, and education provided.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate safe, efficient care.
Requirements:
- Active California RN License (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS – American Heart Association (Required)
