Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Clinic
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Clinic
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI 53051
Duration: 3 + Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: 1st (06:30 - 15:00 or 06:30 - 17:00)
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, No weekends, No on-call, No float
Shift Hours: 06:30 – 15:00 or 0630-1700 depending on operational needs
Weekend Requirement: No
On-Call Requirement: No
May assist/perform in-clinic minor procedures
May support telephone triage and eVisits
Work Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment
- Experience in patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, and telephone triage
- Experience assisting with in-clinic minor procedures
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- Experience in Orthopedics, Podiatry, Plastics
- Circulating RN experience
Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Certifications & Licensure:
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Compact License
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
Job Summary:
- Works collaboratively as part of the interprofessional team to provide patient and family-centered care
- Assesses patient health status and develops, implements, and evaluates care plans
- Utilizes evidence-based practice to guide clinical decision-making
- Coordinates care across settings with patients, families, and care teams
- Supports quality improvement initiatives and professional development
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and care coordination
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Perform telephone triage and support eVisits
- Educate patients and families
- Assist with or perform minor in-clinic procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with nursing practice standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
