ER Nurse Manager PV
Job Title: RN Emergency Room Manager
Location: Blythe, CA - 92225
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4x10 Day Shift (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, flexible)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Job Overview
The RN Emergency Department Manager serves as the operational and clinical leader of the Emergency Department, driving performance, patient safety, and care quality. This role holds 24/7 accountability for nursing operations, ensuring seamless coordination across multidisciplinary teams and strict adherence to regulatory standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for a dynamic professional who can balance strategic oversight with clinical support when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 leadership and direction for ED nursing staff
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, and workflow efficiency
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Support and mentor staff, fostering a high-performance culture
- Step in as clinical staff when required to support department needs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and patient satisfaction
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license (California)
- 5+ years of Emergency Department RN experience
- 3+ years of leadership/management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field (Master’s preferred)
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Preferred:
- NIHSS Certification
- ENPC Certification
