Job Title: RN – Medical/Surgical
Location: Shreveport, LA 71103
Duration: 09/09/2025 – 12/09/2025 (13 weeks)
Shift: Night shift, 12 hours
Schedule: 36 hours per week

• 2+ years of nursing experience – Required.

• Neuro Medical/Surgical experience – Required.

• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to present information clearly.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to demonstrate good judgment.

• Registered Nurse diploma – Required.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing – Preferred.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice – Required.

• CPI Certification (Blue Card) – Required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA – Required.

• Certification in clinical specialty area – Preferred.

• Provide patient care using the nursing process in alignment with the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice.

• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.

• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff.

• Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes for optimal patient outcomes.

• Support customer satisfaction, staff morale, and advancement of the nursing profession.

• Adapt care and communication to the specific needs of the patient population.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
