Job Title: RN Labor & Delivery Unit
Location: New York, NY
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (11.5-hour shifts, 3 days/week) Every other weekend (EOW) required
Hours/Week: 34.5
Schedule Notes: Must be willing to float within competency (including Postpartum) & BSN required
Pay Rate: $69/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, evidence-based care in the Labor & Delivery Unit. Using the Relationship-Centered Care model, this role emphasizes patient advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous improvement in patient outcomes, experience, quality, and safety.

Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Required: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required
- NYS RN License required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
- Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years overall RN experience
- Magnesium Sulfate administration experience required
- EPIC charting experience highly preferred
- Unit Census: Average 12 patients
- Unit Beds: 18
- Staffing Ratio: 1–2 patients per nurse
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts/week
