Duration: 6 Months+ Contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Specialty: Emergency Department (Level One Trauma Center)
Number of Openings: 1 (Travel Position)
Shift Options:
- 07:30 AM – 08:00 PM
- 09:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- 11:30 AM – 12:00 AM
- 07:30 PM – 08:00 AM (Night Shift)
Weekend Hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted)
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: None
Required Experience & Certifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Level One Trauma Emergency Department preferred
- ACLS certification mandatory
- ENPC, PALS, TNCC certifications preferred
- CPI or MOAB training preferred
Unit Information:
- Beds: 63+
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Equipment: IV Pumps, Cardiac Monitoring
- EMR System: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
- Must have ACLS certification
- Preferred: ENPC, PALS, TNCC, CEN certifications
- Experience with diverse patient population ages 0-120 years (including pediatric patients)
- This role will not work in critical care/trauma rooms or triage
- Candidates unfamiliar with pediatrics will not be scheduled in pediatric areas

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, teaching hospital environment
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a Level One Trauma Center with over 200 visits per 24-hour period
- Facility is a designated STROKE and STEMI center
- Serves large elderly and behavioral health populations
- Barbara Bush client within the hospital
Dress Code:
- No specific scrub color required (hospital supplies light blue scrubs)
- Unacceptable attire includes hoodies and t-shirts with unprofessional sayings
