Position Type:
- Full-time contingent position, 32-40 hours per week, including every other weekend.
- May require floating to other nearby locations.
- All Client positions are safety sensitive.
Submission Requirements/Questionnaire to Include on Resume:
- Include screenshot of LVN license.
- Include screenshot of BLS or list expiration date of BLS. (Expiration date must be no less than 30 days past the start date.)
- Are you available to work the required schedule?
- Work schedules will be created in 6-week blocks following the 3 weeks of training/orientation.
- Depending on the needs of the clinic, shifts may be between 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours.
- A typical work week will include two or three weekdays and every other weekend.
- This position also requires working on some major holidays.
- Do you understand that this is a temporary/contract position, and whereas conversion to a permanent Client employee is a possibility, it is not guaranteed?

- In this role, you’ll be an important member of the clinical team.
You Will:
- Administer vaccinations and injections, including but not limited to influenza, COVID, and TB test placements.
- Obtain vital signs.
- Provide emergency care in collaboration with the provider on site in emergent situations.
- Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout.
- Assist with wait room management and other responsibilities such as patient reminder and outreach calls, appointment scheduling, and chaperone for sensitive exams to enhance the patient experience.
- Prepare the clinic and waiting space for the best patient experience.
- Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience administering immunizations and injections and providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
- Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record, preferably EPIC.
- Ability to take vital signs.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.
- Nurses whose experience is primarily in long-term care settings (nursing homes, home health, LTACs, skilled nursing facilities) may face challenges adapting to the Client environment.
- Common areas of difficulty include managing multiple simultaneous tasks, limited exposure to standard immunization protocols, and unfamiliarity with navigating the EPIC electronic health record system.
- Do not submit candidates whose background is limited to these areas.
Licensure/Certifications:
- The LPN/LVN must have a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, Commonwealth of the United States, or District of Columbia.
Education:
- Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission [NLNAC]) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
