Assignment Details:

Duration: 15 weeks

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM

No call, no weekends
Job Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
-
Perform all technical aspects of nursing care per facility policy
-
Assist physicians with:
-
Positioning patients
-
Administering medications under sterile procedures
-
Monitoring patients during procedures
-
Documenting procedures in the medical record
-
Required Experience & Skills:
-
Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience including:
-
Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
-
Pacemaker and loop recorder insertions
-
TEE with cardioversions
-
Interventional radiology (IR) procedures (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, vein treatments, pain clinic procedures)

Proficient in:
-
Cardiac strip interpretation
-
Drip titration and cardiac medication administration
-
Sterile technique
-
Administering conscious sedation
-
Assisting in invasive cardiac procedures

Licensure & Certification Requirements (Must be submitted with resume):

South Carolina RN license or compact multi-state RN license
-
ACLS and BLS (Must be from the American Heart Association)
