Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology
Location: Lafayette, LA
Duration: 3 Months (with possible extension)
Shift: Days, 5*8, every other weekend required

Shift: Days, 5*8, every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities:
- Inserting, maintaining, and removing intravenous lines for safe medication and contrast dye delivery
- Reviewing allergies, patient history, and physical assessment findings with the patient and medical team prior to surgery
- Educating patients and family members on post-operative plans and procedures
- Assisting surgeons during neurological and vascular angiography (setting up supplies, passing guide wires and catheters, preparing sterile trays and equipment, handing over instruments and supplies, etc.)
- Monitoring for and addressing intraoperative complications (oversedation, cardiac arrhythmia, respiratory decompensation, acid/base imbalance, etc.)
Requirements:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS
- LA RN License or compact state license
- 2-3 Yr of recent Acute Hospital experience
