Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Duration: 3+ months (Possible extensions or FT Conversions)

Shift: Day Shift (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Schedule: 5 Days Per Week, 40 Hours Per Week, On-call every 5th–8th weekend and 2–3 shifts/month
Pay Range: $66 - $70/hr. On W2
 
Job Summary:
Delivery of nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care, to provide and ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
Education

• ASN required
• BSN preferred

Licensure & Certifications

• BLS – AHA
• ACLS
• PALS
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and other members of the health care team regarding patient's status, rendered care and treatment plans
• Medication administration utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies
• Ongoing Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluations
• Patient and family-centered education
• Multi-disciplinary discharge planning
• Conscious sedation
• Telemetry
