Location: Modesto, CA 95356
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibilities of Extension)
Local Pay: $80/hr. on W2
Travel Pay: $3,505.33/weekly (Blended)
Shifts Available: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM | 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns. The RN will collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based, family-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns. The RN will collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based, family-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to premature and critically ill newborns in a Level II/III/IV NICU setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on patient needs.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and specialized treatments per physician orders.
- Operate and monitor life-support equipment including ventilators, incubators, and cardiac monitors.
- Respond to emergency situations and perform neonatal resuscitation when necessary.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate and support parents and families on infant conditions, care, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and interventions.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of recent NICU RN experience (within the last 3 years).
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California (or compact license if applicable).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
