Location: Moreno Valley, CA 92555
Assignment Type: 3+ Months (Possible Extension)

Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours/Week
Travel Pay: $2900 – $3000/week (Blended)
 
Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a night shift contract assignment in Moreno Valley, CA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced assessment, clinical judgment, and critical thinking skills while delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced trauma setting.
 
Responsibilities:

• Accurately document patient care, progress notes, and treatment effectiveness in compliance with documentation standards.
• Provide patient and family education, ensuring understanding of treatment and discharge instructions.
• Communicate effectively using SBAR for all handoffs and critical updates.
• Respond promptly to emergency codes (Code Blue, Rapid Response, etc.) and perform CPR when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and National Patient Safety Goals.
• Manage and evaluate patients across all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of core measures, blood transfusion protocols, and restraint management policies.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Exhibit understanding of ED patient flow, rapid evaluation, and triage protocols.

 
Requirements:

• License: Active California RN License (Required)

 
Certifications:

• BLS, ACLS, PALS – American Heart Association
• TNCC or ATCN (Required)
• CPI Certification (Required)
• NIHSS (Preferred)

 
Experience:

• Minimum 3-4 Yrs of experience in 40 beds Emergency Room
• Experience in an ED with ?/span>
• Exposure to pediatric emergency care preferred

 
Travel Requirement:

• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
