Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psych
Location: Westbrook, ME
Length of Assignment: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with acute psychiatric conditions
- Perform patient assessments, monitor behaviors, and document clinical findings
- Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage crisis situations safely
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a safe and structured therapeutic environment
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and psychiatric care standards
Certification Required:
- Active RN License (ME or Compact)
- Minimum 2 years of Psych RN experience (acute adult mental health required)
