Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
Location: Hendersonville, NC 28792
Duration: 5 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Every other weekend required; possible holiday rotations. Per diem start with transition to full-time during FTE provider leave.
Certifications / Licensure: Active State Advanced Practice Nurse license, National Board Certification, current BLS. DEA registration required at offer acceptance.
Position Summary:
The FNP will work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver evidence-based primary and family care to a panel of patients. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role reports to the Practice Manager and supports administrative and operational duties as needed.

Key Duties:
- Provide comprehensive primary and family care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, counseling, and follow-up.
- Conduct routine examinations, diagnostic tests, and care coordination to optimize patient health outcomes.
- Encourage patient engagement through health screenings, behavioral health, wellness programs, and chronic disease management.
- Support administrative operations: opening/closing clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current National Board Certification and State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience preferred (family medicine or primary care); alternatively, successful completion of Client Minute Clinic primary care training program.
- Working knowledge of quality measurement and chronic disease management.
- Strong communication (verbal, written, electronic), organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work autonomously within a clinical care team.
- Proficient with clinical information management systems and technology.
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure if needed.
