RN - Registered Nurse
Job Title: RN - Registered Nurse
Location: Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302
Duration: 3+ Months contract (Possible Extension)
Schedule Notes: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible)
Job Summary:
Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education for patients and their families. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team and participates in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals, ensuring appropriate solutions are implemented.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver and oversee patient care using the nursing process
- Delegate and supervise nursing activities as appropriate
- Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments
- Communicate patient information effectively with the healthcare team
- Identify and address deviations from patient care goals
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective care plans
- Ability to perform a broad range of professional nursing services
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Required:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Must-Have Experience:
- Women’s Health (OBGYN)
- Fetal monitoring (must have prior training)
- Triage experience
- Handling patient phone calls
Work Schedule:
- 5 days per week
- Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible)
- Generally 8-hour shifts; may extend up to 12 hours if needed
- On-call: Not required
- Block scheduling: Not available
