Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D
Location:  Irving, TX 75061
Length of Assignment: 3 + Months (Possibilities of Extension)

Schedule: 3x12's Days/Nights
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts accurate clinical assessments and prioritizes patient/family needs.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates nursing care plans, modifying as needed to meet clinical outcomes.
• Supports evidence-based practice and quality/performance improvement initiatives.
• Creates a compassionate, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Recognizes and incorporates patients’ and families’ cultural, spiritual, and individual differences into care.
• Advocates for patient rights, dignity, and autonomy.
• Facilitates patient and family education, integrating health promotion and disease prevention.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care.
• Uses systems thinking to optimize resources, safety, and efficiency.
• Engages in professional growth, continuing education, and contributions to nursing development and community service.

• Active RN License
• RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced within 2 years
