Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology
Location: Manhattan, NY 10029
Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension

Shift: 12*3, Days and Nights both available

The Pay Rate information:
$68/hr on W2
Stipend available for candidates living above 50 miles from the facility.

Job Description:

• Monitor symptoms, side effects, and overall treatment response.
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive treatments.
• Manage infusion devices, central lines, and ports.
• Verify chemotherapy orders and ensure safe handling of hazardous medications.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after administrations.
• Implement protocols for chemotherapy safety and emergency interventions (e.g., anaphylaxis, extravasation).
• Collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, pharmacists, radiation teams, social workers, and palliative care.
• Advocate for patients needs and preferences.
• Coordinate lab work, imaging, follow-up appointments, and multidisciplinary services.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in hospital settings.
• RN License
• BLS- AHA
• ACLS-AHA
• Chemotherapy ONCC Certification
