Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Duration: 6 + Months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $70 - $74/hr. on W2
Shift: Day (9:00 AM – 9:30 PM)
Schedule: 3 days/week, 12 hours/day, 36 hours/week, weekends & holidays as needed, on-call required
Work Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Education:
- ASN required
Preferred Education:
- BSN preferred
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- Telemetry certification
Required Skills & Experience:
- Cath Lab experience required
- Must function as an intra-procedural RN responsible for documentation, medication administration, and circulator duties during minimally invasive procedures (LHC, PCI)
- Must be willing to provide on-call coverage including off-hours and weekend cardiac procedures
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Critical care experience
- EPIC and Sensis experience
- Experience with IABP, Impella, Shockwave and atherectomy devices
- Vascular and/or Neuro diagnostic and interventional procedures experience
Job Summary:
- The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will work in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting and function as an intra-procedural RN during minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
- Responsibilities include documentation, medication administration, and circulator duties.
