Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery
Location: Hackensack, NJ, 07601
Duration: 09/22/2025 – 01/15/2026
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, every other weekend required, holidays required, no on-call, 13 weeks, EPIC experience preferred
Pay Range: $60-$65/hr.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Minimum of 1 year experience in related specialty.

Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery.
Education
-
Required: ASN.
-
Preferred: BSN.
Licensure & Certifications
-
BLS – AHA
-
NRP
-
NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
Preferred:

ACLS
-
Advanced AWHONN or EFM
Job Summary
-
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.

Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.

Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plan of care through ongoing assessments.
-
Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnosis, and functional health framework.
-
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.

Manage patient care and document in line with standards of practice.
-
Advocate for and support evidence-based practice standards.
-
Deliver patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
