Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology 
Location: Neptune, NJ 07753
Duration: 05/25/2026 – 08/22/2026
Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Schedule: 4 days/week, 10 hours/day, 40 hours/week, no weekends, no holidays, no on-call, no float
Pay range: $60-$65/hr.

• Hematology/Oncology
• Traveling between 2 locations (schedule provided in advance):
  • Neptune, NJ 
  • Brick, NJ 
• Chemotherapy Certified preferred
  Work Setting: Oncology / Inpatient

Required Skills & Experience:

• Two (2) years of acute adult oncology experience specializing in leukemia and lymphoma in inpatient setting
• Hematology

Required Education:

• ASN

Preferred Education:

• BSN

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• BLS - AHA
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

• Telemetry
• Chemo Certification with ONS

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
• Plan, implement and document nursing care based on patient needs
• Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation
• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
• Manage care of patients
• Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity and clinical priorities
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support innovations in care delivery
• Provide patient centric care aligned with professional nursing practice model
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
