Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Duration: 3 + Months contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Shift: 9:00 AM-7:30 PM. 4x10hrs shifts No Weekends, No holidays, No on Call.
 
Pay range: $55/hour to $60/hour on w2

Note: Non-Taxable Per Diem is also provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.
 
Duties:

• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care, addressing patients' physical and emotional needs after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure effective communication.
• Anticipate and manage critical situations and emergencies in the PACU setting.
• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.
• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
   

Certifications & Licenses:

• RN NJ State license or multistate license.
• ACLS - AHA
• BLS – AHA
• PALS - AHA
• Telemetry certification required.

 
Skills:

• Required Skills & Experience:
• 2 strong (recent) years of critical care and PACU exp required.
• Strong background in Telemetry.
