Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiology
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Duration: 04/20/2026 – 08/01/2026
Shift: Evening Shift – 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week, Every fifth weekend required, Holiday as needed, On-call as needed, No floating required
Pay Range: $60-$64/hr.
Schedule Notes:

• Radiology experience preferred
• Required hard skills: IV insertion, port access, allergy reaction
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Work Setting: Radiology / CAT Scan / MRI / Ultrasound / Nuclear Medicine / PET

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility
• IV insertion experience required
• Port access experience required
• Allergy reaction management required

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Radiology experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Education:

• ASN required
• BSN preferred

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)

Job Summary:

• Delivers nursing care according to evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and individualized patient care
• Covers CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and PET departments
• Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care

Duties:

• Evaluates patients and assists physicians with patient care
• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs
• Identifies patient needs and determines care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Develops and coordinates individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments
• Initiates assessments based on patient needs, diagnoses, and functional health framework
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions
• Manages patient care and documents according to standards of practice and clinical priorities
• Supports evidence-based practice standards and innovations in care delivery
• Provides patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models
• Collects comprehensive patient data and performs age/disease-specific assessments
• Recognizes changes in clinical and diagnostic patient status
• Identifies patient and family education needs based on age, disease, and cultural differences
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
