Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Radiology
Location: Hackensack, NJ 07601
Duration: 04/20/2026 – 08/01/2026
Shift: Evening Shift – 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week, Every fifth weekend required, Holiday as needed, On-call as needed, No floating required
Pay Range: $60-$64/hr.
Schedule Notes:
- Radiology experience preferred
- Required hard skills: IV insertion, port access, allergy reaction
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Work Setting: Radiology / CAT Scan / MRI / Ultrasound / Nuclear Medicine / PET
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility
- IV insertion experience required
- Port access experience required
- Allergy reaction management required
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Radiology experience preferred
- BSN preferred
Education:
- ASN required
- BSN preferred
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
Job Summary:
- Delivers nursing care according to evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and individualized patient care
- Covers CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and PET departments
- Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
Duties:
- Evaluates patients and assists physicians with patient care
- Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient needs
- Identifies patient needs and determines care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Develops and coordinates individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments
- Initiates assessments based on patient needs, diagnoses, and functional health framework
- Performs therapeutic nursing interventions
- Manages patient care and documents according to standards of practice and clinical priorities
- Supports evidence-based practice standards and innovations in care delivery
- Provides patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models
- Collects comprehensive patient data and performs age/disease-specific assessments
- Recognizes changes in clinical and diagnostic patient status
- Identifies patient and family education needs based on age, disease, and cultural differences
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
