Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role focuses on delivering competent care to a primarily adult patient population. Essential functions align with the ANA Nursing: Product and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Cardiac Telemetry care
- Ability to work with a diverse adult patient population, including:
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Strokes
- Stable arrhythmias
- Any other patients requiring closer cardiac monitoring and assessment
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, typically acquired through completion of minimum two years of nursing education at an accredited school

Education Requirements:
- Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure:

- Current Wisconsin RN License or Multi-state Nursing License via the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (AHA approved)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA approved)
