Location: Indianapolis, IN 46250
Duration: 13 Weeks
Projected Start Date: October 6, 2025
Projected End Date: December 13, 2025
Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weekend coverage may be required depending on patient admits.
Position Summary:
The Wound Care RN is responsible for implementing wound care policies, procedures, and standards of care. This role provides direct patient care, supports staff nurses, and offers consultative expertise on wound care to the clinical team. All wound care functions are performed under the guidance of the Wound Care Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care for various types of wounds

Support and guide nursing staff in wound care best practices

Ensure compliance with facility wound care policies and standards

Serve as a consultative resource for clinical staff regarding wound care needs

Collaborate with the Wound Care Coordinator and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:

License: Active Indiana RN or Multi-State Compact RN License

BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
Must be attached to submission

Experience: Minimum 3 years recent wound care experience
