Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

Job Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele
Location: Neptune , NJ ( We have other locations available for the same )
Duration: 3 Months + contract 

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend required, 3 of 6 holidays required, no on-call, may float to like units

Pay Range: $54 - $57/hr. on W2 (Negotiable )

  • You can refer your friends or colleagues for this role; we do offer a referral bonus of $750.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior RN experience in an MS/Tele unit within a major acute care hospital
  • Strong medical-surgical and telemetry background
 
Education:
  • Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
 
Certifications & Licensure:
Required:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Telemetry Certification
  • CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours)
  • Active New Jersey RN license or multi-state compact license
 
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs while ensuring adherence to standards of care and evidence-based practice.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assist in patient care in collaboration with physicians
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Identify patient needs and set care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on initial and ongoing assessments
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage overall patient care
  • Document care in accordance with standards, acuity, and clinical priorities
  • Advocate for and support evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
  • Provide patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
