Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, Monday-Friday
Department: Psych Education
Pay Range: $93 - $95/hour. negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)

- The Clinical Nurse in Nursing Education and Staff Development promotes excellence in nursing practice through education, mentorship, and leadership. This role emphasizes Relationship Centered Care and Modified Primary Nursing, ensuring high-quality patient experiences and staff competency. The nurse collaborates with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery, provide service recovery, and support professional growth.
Education & Licensure:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Master’s degree in nursing or Allied Health is preferred, with experience in Nursing Education or Leadership.
- Professional board certification in clinical specialty or staff development recommended.
- Current New York State RN license required.
- Relevant clinical experience in assigned nursing practice area.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships and communicate professionally.
- Teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English clearly and concisely.
- Physical and cognitive ability to assess and care for acutely ill patients, including lifting, stooping, walking, and manual dexterity for clinical procedures (e.g., venipuncture, catheterization, CPR).
