Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Projected Start Date: September 8, 2025
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Facility Type: Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Hospital Setting
Position Summary:
The Acute Rehabilitation RN plays a crucial role in helping individuals with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses reProduct and maintain optimal functioning. This nurse provides comprehensive care that addresses physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health while fostering patient and family adaptation to lifestyle changes. Care is based on scientific nursing theory and principles of self-care.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients in adapting to lifestyle changes due to disability or chronic illness.

Create and maintain a therapeutic environment for both clients and their families.

Design and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
-
Promote holistic well-being in rehabilitation settings.

Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings ranging from acute to subacute levels.
Requirements:

Licensure:
-
Active Oklahoma RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License (must be attached to resume)

Certifications:

BLS Certification (American Heart Association required)

NIH Stroke Certification (American Heart Association required)
Both certifications must be attached to submission.

Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Inpatient Acute Rehab within a hospital setting
