Location: Portland, ME 04102 (Onsite)
Duration: 3 Months+ (with possibility of extension)
Shift: Night
Shift Options:
- 07:30 AM – 08:00 PM
- 09:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- 11:30 AM – 12:00 AM
- 07:30 PM – 08:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirements: Yes, included in 36 hours/week

Unit Details:
- Number of Beds: 63+
- Patient Ratio: 1:4
- Average Daily Census: 200+ visits per 24 hours

Patient Demographics:
- Ages 0–120
- General ED patients, excluding trauma/critical care rooms and triage
- Large elderly and behavioral health populations

Facility Type:
- Level 1 Trauma Center (only one in the state)
- Teaching Hospital
- Certified STEMI and Stroke Center
- Includes Barbara Bush Client unit
- Dynamic, team-oriented workplace
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- License: Active RN license in the state (or compact, as applicable)

Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department preferred

Certifications (Required):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Certifications (Preferred):
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
- CPI or MOAB de-escalation training
Technology & Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC

- IV Pumps
- Cardiac Monitoring Equipment
Dress Code:
- Scrubs: No specific color required – hospital provides light blue scrubs
