Job Title: Packaging Technician
Location: Mount Prospect, IL 60056
Duration: 12 Months+ (Contract With possibility of Extension)
Pay Rate: $19/hr. on W2
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Additional Pay: Premiums for Cold Room and Freezer time

You will play a critical role in labeling, assembling, and packaging pharmaceutical products while upholding strict quality and safety standards.

About the Role:

You will play a critical role in labeling, assembling, and packaging pharmaceutical products while upholding strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Label, assemble, and package pharmaceutical products, including blistered and bottled items.
- Perform manual or automated filling and packaging processes.
- Accurately count and prepare packaging components, ensuring accountability throughout the job order.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards.
- Clean packaging rooms and equipment following SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) consistently and safely.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and quickly learn new procedures.
- Must meet physical requirements (standing, lifting, bending).
- Vision requirements: color vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
- PPE certification (including filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half-face masks, safety glasses).
- Ability and willingness to work in cold environments.
- Must be available for 40 hours per week, with possible additional shifts and weekend overtime.
- Strong understanding of batch paperwork and accurate counting is essential.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, sometimes without constant supervision.
