Job Title: Packaging Technician
Location: Mount Prospect, IL 60056
Duration: 12 Months+ (Contract With possibility of Extension)

Pay Rate: $19/hr. on W2
 
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Additional Pay: Premiums for Cold Room and Freezer time
 
About the Role:
Join our Clinical Trials Division (CTD), where we partner with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to ensure patients receive the right therapies on time. You will play a critical role in labeling, assembling, and packaging pharmaceutical products while upholding strict quality and safety standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Label, assemble, and package pharmaceutical products, including blistered and bottled items.
• Perform manual or automated filling and packaging processes.
• Accurately count and prepare packaging components, ensuring accountability throughout the job order.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Clean packaging rooms and equipment following SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) consistently and safely.

 
Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and quickly learn new procedures.
• Must meet physical requirements (standing, lifting, bending).
• Vision requirements: color vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
• PPE certification (including filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half-face masks, safety glasses).
• Ability and willingness to work in cold environments.
• Must be available for 40 hours per week, with possible additional shifts and weekend overtime.
• Strong understanding of batch paperwork and accurate counting is essential.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, sometimes without constant supervision.
