Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours per week

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery is responsible for providing safe, competent, and patient-centered care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support positive maternal and neonatal outcomes through evidence-based nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor and document patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments.
- Obtain and assess physiological data, intervening promptly as patient condition changes.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed.
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff.
- Coordinate referrals and resources to meet patient care needs.
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Multistate Compact (eNLC) License.
- AHA BLS certification.
- AHA ACLS certification.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.(Can take upon Offer)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or Instructor.
- Strong knowledge of obstetric nursing practice and patient care coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN or MSN from an accredited nursing program.
Additional Notes:
- Night shift | 3x12 schedule.
- 36 hours per week.
