Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours per week

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery is responsible for providing safe, competent, and patient-centered care to obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support positive maternal and neonatal outcomes through evidence-based nursing practice.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor and document patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments.
• Obtain and assess physiological data, intervening promptly as patient condition changes.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed.
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff.
• Coordinate referrals and resources to meet patient care needs.
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Active Oklahoma RN License or Multistate Compact (eNLC) License.
• AHA BLS certification.
• AHA ACLS certification.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.(Can take upon Offer)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or Instructor.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric nursing practice and patient care coordination.

• BSN or MSN from an accredited nursing program.

• Night shift | 3x12 schedule.
• 36 hours per week.
