Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ED
Location: Edison, NJ
Duration: 3+ months (Possible extensions or FT Conversion)

Shift: Days/ Nights
Schedule: Every Other Weekend Required
Weekly Gross: Upto $2556/week (Negotiable - Local/ Travel Contracts Available)
Other Locations: Hackensack/ Bricktown/ Neptune/Manahawkin - NJ

Job Summary:
Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most.

• In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, we need our ED RNs to be equipped to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages.
• Our Emergency Department (ED) nurses are trained in dealing with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.
• Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions and be able to prioritize their injuries and medical needs accordingly.

Education:

• Required Education: N/A

Licensure & Certifications:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS
• Telemetry
• PALS
• NIHSS
• CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours)

 
Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
• Strong experience with Stroke, Sepsis, and STEMI patients
• Ability to function in a FAST-PACED, high-acuity ED environment (up to 220 patient volume/day)
• Must be able to manage up to 20 stroke patients per shift
• Float within department (ED Adult, Peds, IMC)
