Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.

General Description
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
- Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; records changes in physician orders.
- Assists physicians with patient examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
- Obtains and monitors physiological data; observes patient conditions and intervenes as necessary.
- Administers medications as prescribed.
- Initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products.
- Delivers competent, evidence-based patient care.
- Communicates and collaborates with patients and families regarding care plans, hospitalization, and discharge planning.
- Educates patients and families on hospital procedures and care needs.
- Refers patient care needs to appropriate healthcare personnel.
- Delegates tasks appropriately to support staff.
General Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Strong clinical judgment and application of nursing techniques.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to diverse cultural and language needs.
- Basic computer proficiency.
