Role Overview:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will serve as the Charge Nurse during the overnight shift, providing leadership and clinical oversight for both the Memory Care and Assisted Living units. This position is to replace the current full-time night LPN traveler and ensure consistent nursing coverage overnight.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications according to care plans and physician orders.
• Serve as Charge Nurse, supervising and supporting other staff during scheduled shifts.
• Oversee the delivery of quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
• Assess resident conditions, respond promptly to changes, and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, changes in condition, and staff communications.
• Ensure safe staffing practices and a positive work environment during night shifts.

• Current state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse or Compact.
• 2 years of Experience as LPN, preferably in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care settings.
• BLS certification from AHA.
