Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse – CVOR provides safe, competent nursing care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures. This role requires a strong foundation in both circulating and scrubbing within the Operating Room, with a focus on patient-centered care and professional leadership.

Location: Reno, NV 89511
Duration: 3 + Months (Possibilities of Extesnion)
Pay Rate: $3,200 Weekly (Blended) (Negotiable)
Contract Details:
- Shift Time: 6:30 AM
- Shift Days: Monday–Friday (4-day schedule, 40 hours per week)
- Requirement: Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse – CVOR provides safe, competent nursing care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular procedures. This role requires a strong foundation in both circulating and scrubbing within the Operating Room, with a focus on patient-centered care and professional leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care in the CVOR.
- Assist with surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, carotid endarterectomy, AAA repair, and other cardiac/thoracic/vascular procedures.
- Circulate and scrub as needed, ensuring smooth surgical flow.
- Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide professional leadership and support to colleagues.
- Uphold facility policies, standards, and philosophy while demonstrating service excellence.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
- Current RN license in state/district – Required
- Certifications (Required): BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA)
- Experience (Required): Minimum 2 years CVOR experience
- OR Nurses with at least 1 year circulating and scrubbing experience in cardiac/thoracic/vascular cases will be considered
