Nurse Supervisor

Job Title: Nurse Supervisor/Associate DON
Location: New York, NY 10037
Duration: 05/25/2026 – 08/29/2026
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week
Pay Range: $80-$85/hr.
Schedule Notes:

• Associate DON for Behavioral Health Department CPEP/Inpatient/Outpatient
  Work Setting: Acute - Nursing

Required Skills & Experience:

• Seven (7) years of experience is required
• Five (5) years in a supervisory role
• Psychiatric/Behavioral
• Patient care
• Employee performance improvement
• Performance monitoring
• Corrective action implementation

Additional Skills:

• Record-keeping
• Medication error tracking
• Counseling

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program

Preferred Education:

• Master’s degree in Nursing

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• RN License
• Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
• BLS

• Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance
• Monitor patient care performance
• Assess units with nurse managers and assist with corrective actions
• Develop record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling
