Location: Neptune, NJ
Job duration: 3+ months of contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12 hour shifts | Weekends, Holidays & On-Call as Needed
Float Requirement: Pre-op and PACU
NON-TAXABLE STIPEND offered 50 miles and above.
Job Summary:
The PACU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This includes assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and supporting physicians in clinical procedures. The RN will advocate for evidence-based practices and deliver care aligned with the professional nursing model.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and document nursing care based on patient needs and clinical priorities
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care post-surgery
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to create individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver patient-centric care in alignment with established standards and protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and quality standards
- Support innovation and adoption of evidence-based care practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU and critical care experience
- Strong telemetry background
- BSN preferred
- Current NJ RN license or multi-state compact license
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS
- Telemetry certification
