Title: RN - Telemetry
Location: Detroit, Rochester, West Bloomfield, Grand Blanc, Warren, Clinton Township, and multiple cities in MI
Shift Timings: Days/Nights, 12 hours/day, 36 hours/week.
Pay Range: ($1800to $2000) Per week
Essential Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with cardiac and medical conditions.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, including arrhythmias and other cardiac events.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle changes, and discharge instructions.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team
Required Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years telemetry experience
Required Certification & Licensure:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- BLS
Required Skills & Experience:
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
