Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surge
Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49506
Duration: 3+ Months contract (possibility of extension)

Schedule Notes: 7 pm – 07:30 am (3*12)hours shift. Weekends and holidays as needed.
Float as needed.

Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.

Duties:

• Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
• This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications.
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.

• ICU and Med/Surg experience
• PD, Telemetry, IV Starts
• Comfortable with vents, cardiac drips

• MI RN state license
• BLS – AHA
