Job Title: Clinical Nurse Medical/Oncology
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours (5 days/week, 7.5 hours/day)
Department: Chemotherapy Suite
Pay Rate: $62/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for delivering safe, competent, and evidence-based care to a designated group of patients in a Medical/Oncology setting. The role emphasizes Relationship Centered Care and involves direct collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care.

Education:
- BSN preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing accepted with relevant experience or BSN matriculation.

Licensure/Certifications:
- NYS RN License (Active) required
- BLS Certification required

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- At least 2 years of Recent oncology experience required & ONS required

Unit Info:
- Unit Census: ~30-32 patients
- Beds: 35
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
