RN - Critical Care Stepdown

Job Summary:

• Monitors patients using advanced equipment alerting practitioners or physicians about serious changes.
• Administers specialized medications and treatments, using medical equipment such as feeding tubes and catheters.
• keeping medical records complete and updated.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, able to analyze, decide, and act quickly, have strong collaboration skills with colleagues at all levels, able to manage stress under emotionally and physically demanding conditions, and can communicate effectively with families and guardians of patients.

Required Education, Licensure & Experience :

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current state nursing license required.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• NIHSS, BLS & ACLS - Required.
• Critical Care Stepdown experience - Required: 2 Years.
• Primary Source Verification - Required.
• No call required and must have at least 2 years of critical care step down experience.
• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH vasoactive drips, trach vents, DKA, insulin drips, etc.
