Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Title:  Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: New York, NY 10016
Duration: 3 Months+ contract (With Possibility of Extension)

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3 days per week, 11.5-hour shifts. No on-call requirement.
Pay Range: $80 - $85/hr. on W2
 
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care in the Operating Room, with emphasis on cardiovascular and open-heart procedures.
• Perform both scrub and circulating nurse duties.
• Administer IV therapy and perform phlebotomy as required.
• Support procedures requiring conscious sedation.
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Assigned department: Operating Room, Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Client Hospital.
• This position is to replace an agency RN in the CVOR.

• Minimum of 2 years of the following experience is required:
• Scrub and circulating experience.
• IV insertion and phlebotomy skills.
• Conscious sedation experience.
• Strong CVOR & Open-Heart experience required.

• New York State Registered Nurse license – Required.
• Primary source verification – Required.
• IV/Phlebotomy experience – Required.

• Active New York State RN license.
• AHA BLS.
• AHA ACLS.
