Pay Rate: $25.97/hr. on W2

Shift: Monday-Friday (Post-training schedule between 8 AM CST – 12 AM CST, potential weekend shifts)
Training: Approximately 5 weeks, starting 11/10/2025, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST
Ramp Timeline:

Position Summary:
The Nurse Associate LPN supports the Prior Authorization (PA) Department by managing specialty medication PA requests efficiently and accurately. You will work closely with physicians, pharmacies, internal clinical staff, and patients to facilitate timely prior authorization decisions in compliance with ERISA, CMS, and client standards. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant remote environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound calls and fax requests with professional and courteous communication.
• Review and process prior authorizations based on clinical criteria and department protocols.
• Provide after-hours on-call nurse support for urgent PA requests.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists, and internal teams to resolve case processing issues.
• Mentor and support Coordinator staff as a subject matter expert.
• Assist with outbound calls, mailbox monitoring, and other delegated tasks.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all case activity.
• Support weekend coverage on a rotating basis.

 
Candidate Requirements:
Must Confirm on Resume:

• Ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant, distraction-free home environment.
• Own secure, private internet with minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload speed (provide screenshot).
• Active LPN license in the state of practice (license number must be provided).

Education:

• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program.

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Experience dealing with diverse customer bases, both internal and external.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word) and computer systems navigation.
• Knowledge of claim eligibility processes is a plus.

Training & Schedule Details:

• Five-week remote training (Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 4:30 PM CST).
• Post-training work schedule will be assigned; must be flexible for shifts between 8 AM and 12 AM CST, including potential weekend work.
• Shift selection is not negotiable.
